General

Mr. Price is a senior associate attorney with the firm. He has represented individuals and businesses throughout the State of Texas. Mr. Price primarily practices civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, contractual disputes, and insurance-related litigation.

Employment

Mr. Price joined Castagna Scott, LLP in October of 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Price was an associate attorney at the Fort Worth-based firm, Blaies & Hightower, LLP, where he primarily represented clients as  defendants, but also represented plaintiffs. Throughout his career, Mr. Price has defended hundreds of cases in areas including premises liability, transportation litigation, commercial litigation, oil field accidents, contractual disputes, and bad faith insurance litigation. He has also recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

Education

Mr. Price received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude with honors, from Texas Tech University. He received his law degree, magna cum laude with a concentration in health law, from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Prior to his final year of law school, Mr. Price received his temporary law license which he utilized to assist indigent clients for the Legal Aid Society of Lubbock and Tech Law Civil Practice Clinic—handling a variety of matters from protective orders to employment discrimination. While in law school, Mr. Price drafted the article, All Things Are Bigger in Texas: Due Process Issues of Area Quarantine, which was published in the Journal of Biosecurity, Biosafety, and Biodefense Law in 2018.

Bar admissions and activities

Mr. Price was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2018. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas. His associations have included Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, and Tarrant County Bar Association.

Personal

Mr. Price was born in Abilene, Texas and grew up in Pecos, Texas. He and his wife currently live in North Richland Hills, Texas.
